5" Circular Sawn Fir
Our newest product offering—by popular demand! An elite grade of 5" fir boards, but cut at a different angle so you can see the saw marks and wood grain more fully. The natural variations of texture, colour, and saw marks gives it loads of character and rustic charm.
Product Details
- Width: ¾” x 5"
- Length: 6', 8', 10' are standard; available in 12' by special order
- Elite grade: fewer and smaller knots, with more uniform distribution than our classic grade
- Tongue & groove sides for easy installation
- Stress relief grooves on back to prevent cupping
- Micro-beveled edge allows for nice distinction between planks, without being distracting
- Character grade: small to medium sized knots throughout the length of the board
- Mix of both flat and vertical grain
- Pre-sanded surface for easy finishing with all available stains, oils, rubs, wax and clear coats
- Heat-treated and kiln-dried to ensure board stability — not prone to bowing or cracking
- * We recommended ordering an additional 5-15% to account for grade and character variation.
